I've been playing KSP with a Saitek X52 HOTAS for a few months. At first, it was exciting to get to play KSP with semi-realistic controls. Then came the input lag, which ruined my fun completely. I tried multiple solutions, including removing the Saitek software and installing Universal Joystick Remapper and VJoy.What you'll need: - A joystick (I use TM T.16000M) - Download Joy2Key ( https://www.joy2key.net ) Open Joy2Key, move your stick around until you see yellow indicators showing the input. Since 3.18.2 I've had no issues using both in-game but as pf 3.21 the flight stick's inputs aren't registering. I've tried importing the control profiles for the HOTAS (which worked) in the past with no success in getting the stick to work. If you're looking for your first HOTAS just to dip your toes in, then I recommend the x52 pro. I paid $200 for mine and its been an absolute trooper. Choose the Thrustmaster Hotas X preset. You should be good for throttle and aiming. But you still need to configure all of your action buttons.
